020- Bird

He sits in his room hoping his meditation process would calm his nerves. Today was a somewhat stressful day for him and his nerves were causing him to be on edge and even shake a bit. He had a beybattle with Tyson later that day. There were no title shots, prizes or anything else on the line, something he wasn't used to at all. So he was nervous and worried he would go too far, like he had with Tala and his battle.

"You need to relax?" His leader asked. Hrio wore his glasses today, probably wanting to hide his boredom, Garland thought. Hiro tilted his head and thought for a moment. "Maybe… go for a walk? You can clear your head that way." Garland glared at Hiro knowing he just wanted him to go away. He sighed and turned away from his leader but decided to try it anyway.
It was a sunny day, which means it would be fine for a walk. He looked for Brooklyn in hopes to find someone to talk too. He walked around a few blocks to not find him and decided to give up.  So he walked a bit more to find a park where he would sit and meditate in. Instead of looking for an area to meditate in he noticed a flock of white birds. They were beautiful and peaceful creatures.
He smiled and slowly walked closer to them. The twitched their small heads and hopped towards him. He kneeled down and held out his hand. His hands shook a bit and he noticed it was hard to kneel because of his legs shaking as well. The birds flew over and landed on his shoulders, arms and his hands. His smile brightened as he stood up and they flapped their wings as the height rose.
"You all are very beautiful creatures. So free and pure." He spoke to the birds and smiled a bit more. He noticed his nerves slowly start to clam, his hands no longer shaky, nor his legs. "You all seem to have calmed my nerves. Thank you very much." He said to the birds that sat on his body.

"The birds seem to enjoy your presence here!" Garland looked around to see where the voice came from. He saw it was Brooklyn and smiled. The birds all flew off of his body and onto Brooklyn's shoulders. He chuckled as he held out a small handful of seeds and the softly pecked at them.

"I was looking for you earlier." He told his friend.
"Sorry. I needed to get some seeds for the birds." Brooklyn said. "Why did you want to see me?"
"Well I needed to find a way to calm my nerves. But your bird friends here seemed to have helped me with that." Garland told his friend.
"I'm glad they helped you with your dilemma. Your match it today right?"
"Yeah it is."
"Well Zeus and I will be cheering for you. Ming Ming and Mystel will be as well." He smiled as he raised his hand and placed it on Garland's shoulder, the birds slowly moved to his newly shown arm. "Now go get ready and we'll all see you there."
"Yeah. Thanks Brooklyn." He then looked at all of the birds. "Thank you all as well." They chirped then flew away all at once. Garlands eyes opened wide and watched the small birds fly. They really were beautiful creatures.
