Falling for love

Edgar sat on the top of Geoff’s house annoyed that Ryan would take Edgar two’s side in their argument. He had taken his stuff and just gave it away. He had worked for hours on that bow and was planning on giving it to Ryan. He was beyond pissed.
“Edgar!” He didn’t turn around when he heard Ryan yelling his name from the other side of the roof. He didn’t want to say anything to him. “Answer me when I call your name!” Ryan said putting a hand on Edgars shoulder.
“Don’t touch me!” He said smacking Ryan’s hand away. “You picked his side over mine!” He yelled spinning around to look at Ryan.
“He took it thinking it was one of mine!”
“We had to fight off creepers!”
“He knew that was mine! It was in my chest up here!” He shouted at Ryan.
“Up here?”
“Of course! I was keeping it up here so it would be safe! He should have just gotten a regular one from the house…” He said sadly.
“Why did you have a bow up here anyway?”
“It was mine! I was making it…” He paused for a moment. “…for you.”
“You were?”
“I just wanted to do something nice… the last time I actually thanked you for all the crap you’ve done for me… I ended up yelling at you.” He told him sadly. He felt horrible about the last time he wanted to make it up to him. He sighed and turned around the right way.
Ryan stood there for a moment and then ran off leaving Edgar to his thoughts. He knew Edgar two had done it on purpose. He wouldn’t mind the use of the bow at all. It was the fact that it wasn’t Ryan who was using it. If it broke with Ryan he knew he would have protected it. But since Edgar two was using it when it broke he kept destroying it.
“Now go apologize!” He heard Ryan. He turned around to see Edgar two slugging towards him. He was about to throw him over the edge of the building but stopped himself because Ryan was still watching.
“Sorry for takin your bow…” he mumbled.
“And?” He said with a scowl on his face.
“And sorry for breakin it.” He said looking down at the ground. Edgar two turned to see Ryan smiling at the scene.
“Did you read it?” Edgar asked. While still looking at Ryan Edgar two nodded his head. “You still took it even then!?” He screamed as he threw a punch at Edgar two.
“Edgar!” Ryan said running over.
Edgar threw Edgar two to the ground and started to throw punches left and right. Edgar two couldn’t stop the punches until he jabbed his knee into his gut. It made Edgar back away and Ryan got in the middle of the two of them trying to separate them. But when they both got up Ryan was pushed out of the way and the two started to fight more. Their arms locked at they were grappling at one another. They fell to the ground and slowly started to roll around punching one another.
Ryan sat up rubbing the back of his head and his eyes shot open as he saw the two of them rolling towards the edge. His legs felt shaky and his mind was heavy but he ran without even thinking of what would happen if he fell over the edge. But he did think of them falling. It scared him to death.

He dove towards the edge and grabbed onto both of their arms. His grip didn’t stick until his hands gripped onto both of theirs. They both screamed when they noticed what was going on and looked up to Ryan. Ryan was having trouble holding them both up.
“Ryan just let us go!” Edgar two told him. “You’ll end up falling as well!”
“No. I got both of you! Just give me a minute to pull you up.”
“Damn it you idiot just let us go!” Edgar yelled at him.
“I’m not letting go of either of you!” Ryan yelled.
He tried to pull them both up a second time but then slowly started to slip towards the edge more. He knew he wasn’t going to try that idea again. But what other choice did he have? He took in a deep breath and tried thinking of a way to pull them both up before he ended up dropping all three of them over the edge.
“Damn it. Gavin! Ray! Michael! Anyone! Get your asses up here!” He yelled trying to get anyone’s attention. He held on for a few moments until he heard Princeton yelling for Gavin.
“Ryan? Are you okay?” He heard Gavin’s voice.
“Get up here! I’m gonna fall if I don’t get some help!” He screamed as he felt his hand starting to get sweaty. He was scared. He didn’t want to drop either of them. He cared too much for them.
He could hear someone behind him and just squeezed onto the two of them tighter.
“Ryan!”
“Gavin!” Ryan focused on his British accent and smiled. “Thank god!  Grab Edgar two’s hand! Now!”
Gavin held onto Edgar twos free hand and then Ryan finally let go. Edgar two climbed up and just latched onto Gavin for a moment until his nerves finally started to calm down. Ryan held both of Edgar’s hands and started to pull him up. When he kneeled onto one knee he felt a bit dizzy and started to fall forward.
“Ryan!” Edgar two went to grab him but he fell over the edge.
“Ryan! Edgar!” Gavin ran over to Ryan was hanging on by the ledge that Edgar had carved out to hold his small chest.
“Edgar two! Get Edgar up there now!” He yelled. It was an order not just him saying it.
Edgar two jumped at his voice and pulled him off of Ryan and up onto the roof. Ryan pulled himself up and Edgar and Edgar two were still shaking a bit. Edgar two hugged Ryan really tight scared to let go of him again but then looked over to Edgar and remembered he was hanging longer. He moved from Ryan over to Edgar and then let him go.
“What the hell?” Edgar mumbled to Edgar two.
“Just for Ryan… if he would have lost one of us... let alone both of us…” He started to shake again and then started hugging Ryan again.


Edgar and Ryan looked at one another and then Edgar hugged what was free. They stayed like that until they both stopped shaking and they decided to go back home. Edgar actually climbed down the ladder rather than worry Ryan at all. They all ate a dinner of chicken, wheat and bread. Gavin came over with cake and cookies. He was trying to calm everyone down.
“Edgar two can you stay with us tonight?” Princeton asked holding onto his hand.
Edgar two looked over to Gavin who smiled then nodded his head. He felt horrible for what he caused. He knew what that bow meant to Edgar and he just decided to spend the night away somewhere else.
“Sounds like fun Princeton.” Edgar two said as he got hugged by the purple haired boy. He stood up and held him walking out with Gavin.
Ryan sat on his bed looking at the food Edgar barely touched. He decided that he didn’t want it to go to waste so he took some of his cookies.
“Hey why’d you take my cookies?” He said turning to Ryan who had a smile on his face.
“That’s the annoying little brat I know and love.” Ryan said with a smirk.
Edgar let a small smirk cross his lips and he sat next to Ryan with his head on Ryan’s shoulder. He felt comfortable this way. It’s like it was before Edgar two came into the house. He felt free enough to speak.
“Ryan…”
“Yeah?”
“I’m really glad you’re okay… thank you…” He said as Ryan put an arm around Edgar.
“I can’t have you dying on me.” He said smiling. “You mean too much to me.”
They leaned into each other and slowly fell asleep. Ryan woke up in the middle of the night because his back seemed to feel uncomfortable. He saw Edgar had leaned into his side so he decided laying down would be the best option. He moved him first and then himself knowing that no matter what he did Edgar would be sleeping close into his side when he would wake up the next morning. He smiled at the thought. He enjoyed having Edgar close to him like that. He always had ever since they shared a bed when he had first arrived.
He pulled the covers over the two of them and wrapped his arms around Edgar’s waist and squeezed him a bit until he fell asleep comfortably with a smile on his face. In the morning he found Edgar lying towards him snuggled into his chest. He was shaking a bit and he could hear him making noises in his sleep, as if he were having a nightmare. He did what seemed natural at the moment and kissed him on his forehead letting Edgar nuzzle into his neck. After feeling this happy he decided to have a late day.
